The love of Christ inspires us to sacrifice ourselves for our brother. As Christ when he was crucified, prayed to his Heavenly Father to forgive those who crucified him because they did not know what they were doing. Without sacrifice, that is, when we judge our brother who has sinned, we are pushing him to fall even deeper. But when we’ll treat him silently (without objection) with the sacrifice of our love and with a secret prayer for him, we can awaken his conscience, which will accuse him (bring him to his senses), and so he will come to repentance and amendment.
