Do not be too strict. Excessive rigour is dangerous. It holds the soul only in the outer feat, without giving it any depth. Be softer, do not strive for external rules. Mentally talk with God and the saints. Endeavour not to teach, but with meekness correct one another. Be simple and honest… Look around – so the whole creation lives like that and gives thanks to God. So you also live like that in the world – with God.
